It's been a while since I've posted anything. Lots of stuff has been happening, too much to go into any detail. We made the finals, but failed at the last hurdle. The annual carols extravaganza has been and gone. We released a new version of our software at work. Christmas stuff is happening.
I got my hands on a copy of Unreal Tournament 3, and have been playing a little here and there when I get some spare time (which is not very often). It's been good so far, although I haven't really gotten very far into the new game types, or played much of the single player "campaign". Considering the age of my PC I run it on fairly low settings, and in terms of the graphics, there's not a whole lot to distinguish it from the previous iteration in the series. So I'm looking forward to a hefty upgrade-slash-overhaul in the next month or two, which should make the experience that much better. I don't play UT online a huge amount, or any games for that matter. I jumped on for a game today, and this happened as soon as I got on the server. A little while later and I actually had a semi-respectable score - that was definitely one of my better performances.
