Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! I went up to the folks place at Wattle Glen on Christmas day, which was pretty relaxed, and then caught up with Mat, Anne-Maree and Beck at night. On New Years eve I drove down to Inverloch in the morning, caught up with the SUFM crew briefly, caught up with Beck and her friends briefly, then drove back in 40 degree heat. Gotta love the van. That night was a quiet affair at Mark and Delise's place, with Jack and Greg.

I spent last weekend at the Honda training centre at Tullamarine. It was a two-day training course designed for people with little or no riding experience, where you learn to use a bike and sit the Learner's test at the end. It was a bit of fun and I managed to pass the test (just) so I can now ride on the roads. Today I picked up my first bike - a 1988 Honda CBR250R:

I haven't actually gone for a ride on it yet since I was busy today but it was too hot anyway. Tomorrow I'll take it out and see what it can do. Click here to see a few more shots.
