Here are some photos from the day I moved into my new place, as well as a few after shots once I'd got most of my stuff unpacked. It's already been a month since I moved in, and things are starting to settle down.

Lady Soul is a band playing soul covers at the Evelyn at the moment:

They play with heaps of energy, and a passing resemblance to Funk Fiction, which can only be a good thing. The singers are awesome, and the band includes some of Melbourne's finest (Kim May, Simon Hosford, Sean McLeod, Paul Williamson, Greg Spence). They're playing the next three Tuesday nights (July 28, August 4 and 11) at the Evelyn, from 9:30pm (entry is $12). Check them out.
